How We Protect Your Privacy
This page explains, without jargon, exactly what happens to your words when you use Zayenha Soul — even if you have never opened a computer in your life.
Our commitment, stated plainly
Every Zayenha Hub app, without exception, follows the highest governance and privacy standards under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). This is not a marketing slogan — it is the foundation of every technical decision behind this app, and one of our core strengths. In one paragraph: what does "encrypted" actually mean?
When we say something is "encrypted," we mean it is scrambled into meaningless codes before it is ever stored, using a key tied only to your account. The practical result: even if someone looked directly at our database — a curious employee, or a hypothetical hacker — they would not see your words. They would see random, meaningless code. This is far stronger than a mere "promise not to read it" — it is a technical impossibility.
Every service, one by one: what is saved, and how you control it
For the four session-based services (Held, Unsaid, CBT, Insomnia): while you keep “save this session” on, your full conversation is stored encrypted — every word you wrote and every reply, however long the session runs, and kept for as long as your account exists. You can return to continue it, review its text in “My session history” on each service page (collapsed by your choice, with the summary staying primary) or in your unified conversation log grouped by day, and delete it at any time.
Fadfada & Naseeha
You choose: an ephemeral session (nothing saved at all), device-only saving, or encrypted saving to your account.
In ephemeral mode (the default): no conversation text ever reaches our servers. In account mode: your conversation is kept in full, with no limit, for as long as your account exists.
Fadfada · Naseeha — choose the mode inside the page, read anything saved in your conversation log, and delete it anytime from there or from your account page.
Held (احتواء)
Your full conversation for each session + a short summary (both AES-256 encrypted), so you can return to it and continue, and your guide remembers it.
You can turn off saving a specific session from its finish window (neither its text nor its summary is kept) — it still counts toward your progress either way.
Held — the "Clear my session history" button on the page permanently erases everything immediately.
Unsaid (حوار التحرر)
Your full dialogue for each session + a short summary (both AES-256 encrypted) + who/what you addressed (a technical necessity, see below).
You can turn off saving the session (its text and summary) — but who you addressed always stays saved, because the AI needs it to work with you on every message.
Unsaid — the "Clear my session history" button permanently erases summaries and commitments.
CBT Guidance Sessions
Your full conversation for each session + a short summary (both AES-256 encrypted) + the homework you write yourself.
Your homework is always kept (you wrote it); and you can turn off saving the session (its text and summary) for any session.
CBT Sessions — "Clear my session history" erases everything and resets your program to the start.
Guided Insomnia Program
Your full conversation for each weekly session + a short summary (both AES-256 encrypted) + your homework; your daily sleep diary is always kept as an independent tracking tool.
You can turn off saving the weekly session (its text and summary); the sleep diary is never affected by this choice.
Insomnia Program — "Clear my session history" erases the chat sessions (their text and summaries), not the diary.
"Reflect on your words" (inside tools)
Your full reflective exchange, encrypted (AES-256) — the same way your writing in the tool itself is kept.
It used to vanish on refresh; it is now kept, because losing it served no one. Read it in your conversation log and delete it from there whenever you want.

A technical necessity vs. a preferential recommendation — the difference matters
We draw a clear line between two very different things when we talk about "what gets saved":
- Technical necessity (rare, and stated openly): One single case across the entire app: who or what you address in Unsaid. This specific service literally cannot function without it, because the AI needs it on every message to know who it is sitting with. We do not offer a choice here because no real technical choice exists — not because we do not want to give you one.
- Preferential recommendation (sessions and chats): Saving a session (its full conversation and summary, both encrypted) is on by default because it lets you return to and continue it, and lets your AI guide remember you between sessions — but that is our suggestion to you, not a requirement. The choice is yours every session: turn it off with one click before or during, or erase everything previously saved at any time. And in Fadfada and Naseeha, ephemeral is the default — nothing is stored at all unless you choose it.
- One stated exception — the tool reflection: It has no up-front off switch: it extends what you wrote in the tool, which is already kept, and it used to be erased on refresh to nobody's benefit. Your control over it is after the fact rather than before: every reflection has its own delete button in your conversation log.
You Are Always in Control
Regardless of the service, you always have two ways to stay in control: choosing not to save from the start (before anything is written), and deleting what was already saved later (after the fact). No need to remember which — every service page shows the right option in its natural place.
If you want to delete everything at once
You can permanently delete your entire account from your account page at any time — this erases all your personal data across every service in the app within 72 hours, per our PDPL commitment.
